Manage your bank accounts and do transactions without leaving your home!

Our online banking gives you 24 hour, 7 days a week access to your accounts from your home or office computer. With access to online banking, you can review your deposit and loan account information and view your balances, make transfers between accounts, schedule and pay bills using Bill Pay, and much more!

Peoples State Bank considers security a top priority. We will continue to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) in addition to usernames and passwords to authenticate your identity. MFA assures you our website is secure and confidential by displaying our predefined personal identification image at login. The security questions will be prompted if you are logging into internet banking from a computer you have not registered as private. 

How often do I have to reset my password? 

You are no longer required to change your password every 6 months. Passwords must be at least 9 characters and contain letters, a number, and a special character. Please do not share your password! If you feel your password has been compromised, change it immediately and contact the bank. 

Mobile Banking

Bank anywhere from an electronic device using our free mobile app! All you have to do is download our Peoples State Bank app and you will be capable of accessing your accounts on your smart phone or tablet. You will be able to do the same functions that you can do on online banking, as well as Mobile Deposit Capture, all from the Peoples State Bank app. 

All you have to do is search for us in your Apple© or GooglePlay© store and install the free app. Apple users will search for "Peoples State Bank Hville" and Android users will search for "PSB Hallettsville". Your login information will be the same as your online banking credentials.

Mobile Deposit

Mobile Deposit Capture is a free convenient service that allows you to make a deposit by taking a picture of the front and back of a check and then submitting it all from your mobile device.

Please note:

  • You can only use Mobile Deposit while using the Mobile Banking App
  • There is a daily limit of $8,000.00 and a limit of $5,000.00 per check
  • The daily cut off to Mobile Deposit a check is 4:00 pm

Steps to make a Mobile Deposit:

  1.  Endorse the back of the check with your name and write "For Mobile Deposit Only".
  2. On the Mobile App, tap "Deposit".
  3. Tap "Deposit a Check"
  4.  Select the account you want the deposit to go into and enter the amount of the check. 
  5. Take a clear picture of the front of the check, then tap "Use". 
  6. Take a clear picture of the back of the check, then tap "Use".
  7. If everything appears correct on your screen, tap "Make Mobile Deposit".

Please make sure that the check has been deposited to your account before you destroy it. 

 TransferNow

TransferNow allows you to transfer funds to or from accounts you hold at other institutions, and to also make payments on your Peoples State Bank loans from external accounts.

Please note that if this is your first time to do an external transfer, you must first go to the Peoples State Bank of Hallettsville website to login and accept the new Terms and Conditions.

Steps to make an external transfer from the website:

  1. Log into online banking
  2. Click "Transfer" at the top of your screen
  3. Click "Launch External Transfer"
  4. Click "+ Add a New Account". You will need to know the routing and account numbers for your external account. The system will then send two microdeposits to your account to verify it. You will need to log back into online banking to verify the account by entering the amount of each deposit. Please allow up to three days for these transactions to take place.
  5. Once you have added your external account(s), you will be allowed to complete a transfer. Simply enter the amount, select the "From" and "To" account from the drop down, and select the date you want the transfer to take place. Then click "Continue". You can also make a recurring transfer by clicking "Make Recurring" and selecting from the dropdowns provided for the Frequency and Duration. Please allow up to three days for the transfer to process.

Steps to make an external transfer using the app:

  1. Log into the mobile banking app
  2. Tap "Transfer & Pay"
  3. Tap "Make an external transfer"
  4. Enter the amount, tap "From" and select the account you want to withdraw from, tap "To" and select the account you want to deposit into, and select the date you want the transfer to take place. Then tap "Review". You can also make a recurring transfer by tapping "Make Recurring" and selecting from the dropdowns provided for the Frequency and Duration. Please allow up to three days for the transfer to process.

If you are making a loan payment, the payments will only post as a Regular Payment. The system will not tell you what your regular payment amount is, so you will need to get this amount before you set up the external transfer.

 

Bill Pay

With Peoples State Bank's bill pay services you will be able to:

  • Pay your bills electronically all in one application online.
  • Set up automatic payments.
  • Receive email notifications reminding you of bills that need to be paid and when a bill has been paid.
